| From the very minute he was born, Jette stood out from
all the other puppies in the "J" litter. First it was because he
was the biggest puppy - and most bold. But then as he grew - so
did his presence. He has the attitude that has proven to bode well
in his predecessors - Kooter, D'Art, Fonzie, Azure, Leo - what more can I
say? As with any pup - time will tell - but watch for Jette; I
think he has a lot of potential.
Jette's first opportunity to
hunt was the fall of 2010 - when he was less than 1 year old. We
took him to Medicine Lake Montana - our favorite hunting spot.
Jette proved to be the same kind of heavy cover/water dog that his big
brother Fonzie is - so much so that the only way we could tell them
apart was by the color of their collar. Their run and style is
exactly the same. Jette proved his use of nose and desire on a
wounded pheasant which he proudly retrieved after a solid track of the
running bird. Way to go Jette!
Jette also shows a lot of
promise as a water dog as his desire and enthusiasm are just what you
hope to see in a young dog. |
