When I got the email that "a female puppy has been reserved for you - if you want her" it goes without saying that "OF COURSE" I was going to get her.  Then, when we were making arrangements to get her to the US and I was told "or you can come get her" - AGAIN it goes without saying "OF COURSE" I would go get her.   What an opportunity - 1) to get this girl and 2) to actually go to France to pick her up.  Needless to say this was a very special experience and well worth the trip.  That's a whole other story in itself.

Envie is from a small breeder, M. Jolivot from Dijon.  Her mother, Perle des Genets de l'Azur is a Trialer who has produced several champions in the field; and who herself has earned a 268 pt BICP (Search behind the duck).  This is a highly respected achievement and one you don't see very often.  In our breeding program this level of water work is highly desired.

Her sire, Arko de la Butte de Suin, although he has not been campaigned, is recognized as an exceptional hunting dog who comes from the famous lines of Nixo de Saint Lubin and Ideal du Bois de Vauchelles.

We have great hopes and expectations for "Miss Envie."  She already shows a strong character.
