Owner: Jim Johnson Timon had kind of a rough start in life. Bred by Theo Whetzel, he was sold to a couple in Oregon Unfortunately they were not prepared to deal with an enthusiastic French Brittany puppy. Timon came to TLK as a rescue dog at the early age of 9 weeks.
It didn't take long to appreciate that Timon had some very special talents. Primarily, bird finding and incredible style on point. As he continued to mature he only got better. Spring of 2003 Timon passed his T.A.N. in Indiana in less than five minutes with two bird finds. He then moved on to a NAVHDA Natural Ability test at Hot Springs, MT where he aced the water with a score of "4." On to the field. Timon proceeded to sweep the field with finds and points on 4 of the 5 birds planted. He was affectionately dubbed "That super-wonder-vacuum dog." The track caused him a little setback as the bird hung a right - straight into the wind. What was a dog to do - but slam on point as he got a face-full of scent. Oh well. He scored a Prize III overall and we were very proud of him.
Timon has moved to Kentucky with Mr. & Mrs. Jim Johnson Although we will miss him, we know Jim and his wife will have many days of enjoyment hunting over the "Super Wonder Vacuum Dog."
