"Dog On It — French Brittany"

***Kooter Does it Again***

Over the Labor Day Weekend (2004), Kooter and Kurt were busy.  "Koot" earned

Winner, Champion Class (X3), Best of Breed (X3) and Gun Dog Group 4,

"Kooter" is one of those pups that just stood out from the very beginning.  Something told us there was something very "special" about this pup.  I guess it was destiny that this little pup would go on to accomplish great things.  The first validation occurred at the National  Specialty Show in Armour, SD.  As "Koot" progressed from winning the Puppy Class to Best of Variety — Best Male — and ultimately —  Best of Winners — AT SIX MONTHS OF AGE proved that we were right.  Two days later when he passed the T.A.N. (with none other than a truly unorthodox performance - true to "Kooter" form - and qualified as one of the first Epagneul Breton to achieve the coveted UKC TOTAL DOG award, we were certain that this is an exceptional dog.

Koot's next achievement was to finish his UKC Champion title in Salt Lake City, Utah — at 8 MONTHS OF AGE.  This is undoubtedly a phenomenal accomplishment to say the least.

TLK would like to thank Kooter's owner, Kurt Stepaniak, for recognizing his pup's potential and following through to finish his title, run him in the field,  and prove that the breeding program at TLK is on track and producing the TOTAL DOG - proven both in the field and in the conformation ring.  A true testament that "Form = Function."
