Topper-Lyn's United Front - 2004 Best of Winners - T.A.N. - UKC TOTAL DOG @ 6months-3weeks of age

"Kooter" swept the ring with wins in the Puppy Class, Best of Variety, Best Male, and went on to take Best of Winners.  Koot was handled by his proud new owner Kurt Stepaniak, of Bettendorf, Iowa.  On Sunday Koot had a slightly unorthodox find in the T.A.N. (whodathunk the quail would have been IN that badger hole).  However, Koot convinced the judges that he truly was pointing a quail (although his head was completely underground) and successfully passed his T.A.N.  This accomplishment qualified him for the coveted UKC TOTAL DOG award.  This is considered one of the most difficult awards to achieve at UKC since the dog must win in the conformation event as well as a performance event on the SAME WEEKEND.  A feat that is not easily accomplished.  We are very proud of Kooter and Kurt.  Great Job Guys!
