TopperLyn Fonzie earned RESERVE
(RCACT) in
the Open Solo Wild Bird Trial at the CEB-US National Specialty,
as well as
Reserve Best Male of Variety.
Fonzie's Reserve placement
in the Field Trial was more like a "win-win" for TLK as he competed in
the barrage against none other than his litter SISTER - CHF CH TopperLyn
Fontay Azure Bo (Azure)
The two dogs coursing
through the field were, at times, impossible to tell apart - other than
by the color of their collars.
Fonzie then went on to hunt
seven days in a row for wild birds at Medicine Lake, MT where he showed
he could "do it for real" with as much style as he does in the Field
Trials. |

When it came to the
judgment for BEST
of BREED - it
warmed my heart greatly
that the
competition was between full
brothers -
TopperLyn D'Artagnan and
his brother GRCHF GRCH TopperLyn
Gallant Bodacious (AKA
"Leo").
It doesn't get
much better than that!
Except when it
came to doing it "for
real"at Medicine
Lake, MT where D'Art
showed the same
style and quality of
nose to produce
wild game for the gun.
That's

Wild Bird Trial - Wilsall, MT
Azure has now completed the
requirements for CHAMPION of the FIELD.
Azure ran in a "barrage" to
earn 1st place in the WB Open - running against her brother TopperLyn
Fonzie.
The smile on the judge's
faces was worth it all, when someone pointed out that the two dogs were
litter-mates. "Ahhhhhh!"
That explained why they run so similar.

Two more brother's join
the ranks!
TopperLyn Jette and TopperLyn Juno

We are excited
that it appears that "Beau" and "Sapphyre" have 'done it again.'
We are pleased
to introduce Jette and Juno as the latest additions to the TopperLyn
team. Jette is almost
a clone of his
older brother TopperLyn Fonzie. Both pups proved themselves in the
field on their first outing
hunting at
Medicine Lake, MT. Both dogs proved they have the nose and the
brain to track a wounded bird.
Juno showed a
perfect track on a Sharptail Grouse; and Jette saved the day and
recovered a running
pheasant.
Both dogs are showing tremendous potential.
